Starting a Juice Fast ...

today!!

I've been feeling overwhelmed/stressed lately, so I've decided to do a 10 to 12 day juice fast.  I will add an occasional smoothie in.

I'm also going to use this time to do some meditating and read daily devotionals.  I just need to take a step back from everything I've been dealing with and get a new perspective on things.

I think I'd be starving - and running to the bathroom a lot - if all I drank was juice! Good luck with it!

I'd cheat, I know. But I do love the juice - we just got our first juicer a few weeks back and we go through boxes and boxes of fruit every week - Yum!
November is a busy busy time, think I'd like to rekindle the meditating too.

Hi, Sherry. I'm not going too far from the bathroom today, lol. ; }

Hi, Charmaine. I'm not going to stress if I'm not 100% on this juice fast. I just want each day to be the best it can be. Juicers are great. I'm going to do some carrots and apples later today. I'm going to use the pulp to make some crackers.

I've thought about this. I feel kind of like Sherry said. I know I wouldn't be doing it in the next couple weeks since we're taking a long road trip for the Thanksgiving holidays. Juice diet would not go well with all that driving I don't think.

Can I have some soup now and then if I do a juice diet?

Hi, Arlee. I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to answer before now. With a modified juice fast, I don't see why soup now and then wouldn't work. Have a safe road trip!

I don't know if I could ever do a juice fast, but I do know I feel sooo much better when I eat healthier!

So, how did it go overall? Did you feel better after that long of a fast? ~Angela
